Guys, I left.

Let me first say that I am not impressed with these guys from ECKR and I will no longer promote any of their shows. They don't answer their phone, don't update the people who have RSVP'd to this show letting them know the show has moved to the rain date and then they go and change the price once you show up.
I was the only G there.... easy trophy I suppose, but they now want $45 to enter the car into the show for judging. The flyer clearly states $25!

Add to that the fact that I know absolutely nobody else there... it would have been a very long 3 hours waiting for the judging to begin.

Show sucked... sorry I bailed if you are on the way.

Did anyone else make it today?
I drove by again around 2:30 and the place was hopping.

 

Thats too bad Scott, doesn't sound like they have the guests in mind too much.

 

I guess I'm the minority, thinking $45 was a bit high to show a car.
There were quite a few cars there when I drove by at 2:30.

They were even whacking people $5- each just to walk around and look at the cars.

 

I was at the show with yuppieracing.net in the white Evo X. Show was pretty good, but I didn't compete...just paid $10 to park with everyone and left early. There was some talent inside the strip club...not so much outside.

I would have come over and said hi if I knew that was you. I saw you there before I took off.
Honestly, this event probably would have been a blast if I had a few friends with me. I still think $45 is highway robbery.
Maybe I'm just cheap though.

 

I had no idea it was $45...none of the yuppie guys said anything...I just paid my $10. But, I think yuppie took home 4 trophies so maybe that's why they didn't complain lol.
