front windshield replacement

Anyone have any hookups for auto glass? Should I pay extra for the OEM glass or just buy aftermarket? Should I go to a dealer or an auto glass shop? I'm not doing it thru my insurance.

I don't think any dealers do the glass themselves. They outsource it.

G35Ian does autoglass, PM him.

Haven you checked with your insurance yet? I know that some insurance companies cover replacing windshields with no deductible or impact on your premiums.

look in one of the corners of the glass... it will have a manufacturer on it. Im trying to rmember the brand thats made in China.. Once you find an auto glass shop, try calling them to see if they can tell u where the glasss was made... Chinese glass is usually alot cheaper in price as well.
