Plenum Install advice

Ok, so i've read countless threads on installing the motordyne plenum spacers and how it's easy and what not. Couple of questions for those in the New England region who've done this install themselves, assuming you all went with the copper version.

Can you please just list the tools you used? I have the MD detailed instructions but it kinda looks like its instructions for plenum spacers in general, there are too many sections that look like they don't apply to me so im hesitant to give it a try.

I've had the kit for over 2 months now and i saw the box sitting in my room today and decided i gotta get this done before all the nice days are gone.

So what tools for the MD copper plenum? for the part with the touque wrench, i've decided i'll go with the nut driver/leather glove option since i;ve read it's a safe guaranteed alternative

Any tips?

Any one around central mass (near worcester) willing to do it for me for a small fee and/or beer?

Tips? Im not opposed to doing it myself at all, i just want to be sure i have all the tools and steps down before i open up my G

Thank you!!

It's not too bad, even in the Northeast where you think all of the bolts will be rusted together. I just did mine this past Saturday.

I think the instructions are pretty good in what they tell you to bring, but fire is right - definitely watch some videos first. Also, make sure you read through all of the instructions. If you have the copper, then I'm assuming you're doing the iso thermal kit, which means you're doing everything but the MREV and CCV install. You'll want to read almost every page of the instructions.

Additonal tools required, but not mentioned:
- Allen wrench (this is mentioned in the instructions) for the throttle body. If you have an allen type socket you can use with a torque wrench you'll be even better off
- A bunch of different pliers to deal with all the different hoses
- A bunch of rags
- WD-40 to loosen bolts
- At least 1 friend to help deal with the hoses (this is the hardest part)
- You'll need an extension for your torque wrench to get the 10mm socket down at least 4 inches or so

Trust me, DIY install is worth it when you get the car back together and turn it on...

I can take a drive up there. I won't be able to offer anything useful, except another pair of hands, seeing as I've never done this but it would be nice to help/watch so when I do this next month I'll know what I'm doing.
