CEMA is a place to receive weekly e-mails about auto shows, meets, cruises, races, etc. Members from about 15 different forums post up their events or send me e-mails and then I add them to the group and the Google calendar.
Every winter the group goes into hibernation and starts back up in the spring.

05.12.08 I started CEMA (at the time was Cruise Eastern MA) with 20 members and in the first 6 months we had 280+ members from New Jersey to Maine. The group name changed because we had members and events all over New England.
We now have 580+ members, 16 officers from different businesses and forums, and 3 admins.

T... we need a new place for the Jordan's meet, or we need to start our work early this year.
Not having it this past Fall sucked and a lot of people here were disappointed.

Most of my time spent last year was helping YuppieRacing and SupercarRoadTrips with their events.

I'm going to get YR to help put together the dinner meets again this year.

Why not run it anyways? I don't charge anything for the businesses to advertise through the group.

I support local shops as much as I can (and a few online shops on the East coast that I like)
