I don’t want my G35c stolen!
The G35c is a very attractive car that will (gets) a lot of attention. To that end a lot of car thieves will be looking to jack a few. Although I plan on keeping my G in the garage I do spend a lot of time at places that have public parking (i.e. malls, movies, NYC, etc). I want to put a really good antitheft device on my G as soon as I get her. Right now Im looking at the LoJack system (the two LoJack products Im looking at are: http://www.lojack.com/foryou/early_warning.htm and http://www.lojack.com/foryou/lojack.htm).
What do you guys think of the security system that comes standard on the G? Will it be enough to go with the LoJack products and the standard security system on the G? Can anyone recommend a security system worthy of protecting a G35 coupe? Is there any comparison sight that focus on car security?
I really need feedback on this issue. Last think I need to happen is one day after a movie and dinner in the City I find out Ive been jacked for my G.
Ra!

Re: I don’t want my G35c stolen!
When I purchased my coupe the dealer installed low jack for me. I live in NYC, and i think by having lowjack is more then enough. I also bought the autolock, but I heard it's not that easy to steal I could be wrong. To answer your question I think the 2 lowjack systems or any low jack system is perfect.
Re: I don’t want my G35c stolen!
Dude... I bought my G because my 1999 Integra GS-R was stolen from my Office parking lot. The car was hooked... so it hurt a bit. My mistake... no alarm. I swore I was going Lo-Jack on this car but the dealer I bought from talked me out of it. Basically... if they can get throught the ignition key chip then they are professional... and will probably beat Lo-Jack unless you know the second the car is taken. There is a new Lo-Jack sys that will actuall trigger as soon as the car is moved from its location. There is a key-fob that you carry and it activated the motion monitor as soon as you are away from the car. This way you know the moment the car is moved. THat was not available in October when I bought mine... if it was then I may have been swayed.
