What's up everyone. New to the forums. Just picked up, well, actually going to pick up today, a 2006 G35 sedan. Definitely glad to be back into a sporty car from the tank I was driving (04 Escalade).

Already picked up a K&N drop-in, need to track down a Ztube now, and hopefully a Y pipe and some other parts, ready to get down to business.

Congrats on the purchase & welcome aboard. And I guess compared to what you were driving, the G is a much more "green" car, getting somewhat better mileage than your Escalade (probably 8-10 MPG more).... Where you from?

Haha yea to say the least. I think I'm getting about twice the MPG now, so I sorta laugh when I see G drivers complaining about their mileage.

I live in South Boston.

Already have the bug. Been trying to track down a Z suspension since 2 days before I even picked it up!

Welcome to the forum Boss! Looks like you are on the path to a full addiction on your G... A.K.A. Empty Wallet Syndrome. I don't even think I have hit a year yet with my sedan.

haha thanks a lot. Yeah I'm still patiently waiting for a revised Z set up to come up. I've gotten offers from a few folks via Craigslist and My350Z but they're all the unrevised. Figure I may as well wait for what I really want. Next up is the Y pipe and Z tube. And so it begins. Either way, it's good to be out of a beast of an SUV and into something that handles like a go-kart.

PS don't ever buy an Escalade. BIGGEST piece of junk EVER. In the 5 months I owned it, I replaced the transmission, 2 starters, climate control computer, window motor, an insane amount of bulbs, and it goes on. Mind you this was a one-owner vehicle too with a clean record. Luckily the dealer I got it from is awesome and worked with me to take it back and put me into the G without changing my finance at all.
