Every week we plan to get together for a few hours on wednesday night's at 7pm in different locations throughout SoConn. Last week we got together at Cove Beach (back lot) in Stamford which is a great meeting spot through Memorial Day. https://g35driver.com/forums/northea...amford-ct.html The idea is to rotate locations so more people have a chance to come and hang out. For now we will rotate between Stamford and Milford until we get more suggetions from other members. We could also plan for a meet on the Berlin Tnpke sometime soon and work that into the rotation.
We will also be planning bbq's and mountain runs so everyones input on availability would help.

This week, 4/7 , we are meeting at Starbucks in Orange CT (538 Boston post Rd Orange CT 06477) at 7pm to hang out, then go for a cruise on the Post road and maybe get some beers... as a pregame for the UCONN show on Sunday 4/10 in Storrs CT.

Wish I could make it weekly to your meets, but I live up in Western Mass and work till 6-8pm in East Hartford, so I'll be exhausted to drive back home to only wake up at 6am the next morning. Of coarse if you guys have a meet on a weekend it's a totally different story and wouldn't mind the little trip down south.

As for other locations closer to Hartford area would be best for some of us. The berlin turnpike around the weekend sounds like a plan and I know most would make it, but the only problem would be the cops of course.

 

if you guys are keeping this on a Wednesday weekly basis there is a quiet spot with no po po problems on the pike. so once the time comes for the pike meet. more info to follow.
