I was driving on rt.1 in Greenwich, CT last night and passed a DG coupe with gorgeous rims (2pc black w/ chrome lip) and I honked and waved but whoever was driving looked at me like I was riding on a broomstick. Anyone on the board???

The main reason for my post was to figure out why they were too good to wave back... If it was Babiephat I think he would have responded a little better than completely ignoring the fellow G. At least I hope so.

First off, thanks for the compliment speed!

Funny you should say that because I was thinking the same thing... truth is, I have NEVER waxed the G... I just washed it and it shined like that... go figure.

I am however ordering my Zaino kit today to give it a nice once-over before parking her for the winter. A sad day that I wish I didn't have to face... I envy those SoCal guys.

I do still have the Blizzak LM22's brand spankin new that I'm not going to use if anyone wants to buy them off me. They for the 18's with staggered fitment. Over $900 for the tires alone on TireRack. I'll sell them for $800 and even deliver them within a reasonable distance (probably one tire at a time given the cargo space in the coupe hehe jk)

btw... you can fit the rims in your coupe.. it's been done. ONE rear tire in the trunk, and the rest inside the car. I just put them all in LARGE garbage bags so I didn't have to line the interior of my car... [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

you know, alot of people have asked me if they give me any $hit about not having a front plate... the only thing I can say is that I haven't had a front plate on any of my last 3 cars and I haven't been given any trouble. I think that unless you're causing trouble they'll leave you alone.
