Aggressive Police in the DC Area

I've noticed a huge flood of cops patrolling the area these days. Speed traps, sobriety checkpoints on Thursdays, etc. I had this one [censored] cop who pulled me over before, pulled me over again for no reason. He stopped a truck with some older caucasian male who sped past me while I was stopped at a light that just turned green. I happened to be behind him, and then he waves me to the side as well and sticks me with the truck's LIDAR reading. He then let's the truck go. Is this considered profiling? What BS!

This past Monday, I'm on the beltway around 8pm on the right side coming into the beltway and this [censored] patrol car tailgates me to the point that I can't even see his headlights. Mind you, I'm doing 50mph. He then swerves to the next lane, pushes forward, stops next to me and gives me a look over before speeding off.

My advice to you G drivers in the DC area is to watch out and drive SLOOOOW!!! Also if you feel that you are being harrassed, there is a officer conduct complaint phone number. I'm going to consult my lawyer and perhaps give them a call about this cop who's sweatin our Gs in a negative way.

Re: Aggressive Police in the DC Area

I know how you feel. I have only been in the N. VA/D.C. area for about 4 months and it has been ridiculous. When I had my integra down here I was pulled over on average twice a week. I was on rt. 66 a few weeks back doing 56 mph minding my own business (about 1 a.m.). I was pulled over by not 1 cop, but 2. One came up behind me, the other flew past and got in front. After 45 mins of sobriety tests and searching my car, they let me go with a warning for "illegal exhaust" - which you can't hear when driving normal. I am so glad that car is finally gone. I've only had the G for a few days now, so far no problems.... I'm sure I'll run into it though. Its the man always trying to bring us down! haha.

Stop me if I'm wrong but technically that's true. Windows come factory tinted at like 70 or 80% don't they. If you put on 35% tint when it was already slightly tinted it would compound it and make it less than 35%. They're just being d!cks. Sorry to hear that.

Live in the MD/DC/PA/VA area?
PM me to join the Capital G club!!!

yeah, everyone tails me. Even grandmothers in their caddy's. It's ridiculous. But yes, I've been tailed and followed by an unmarked cruiser but I already know it's a cop. So I just drive speed limit and it annoys the hell out of them because they're not used to going that slow. LOL

RSpec, that's in the range of statistical deviation of the tint measurement device. Take it to court with what I just said and the judge has to dismiss it. It helps to also know what tint-o-meter he used and contact the company to find out what their statistical deviation is for that model. Take that to court, bingo, instant win!

Some judges even will dismiss it by mail if you provide proof from the manufacturer about the SD. Mine does.
