Ok people that's it weather is getting much much better, and it's time for everyone in the NY tri-state area to start planning ideas, plans, on where to hold a meet. C'mon guys we gotta get something starting over here you go to the westcoast forum they having meets almost every weekend. I know we couldn't do that because of the weather but now we can't use that excuse. So guys let's post all the ideas here and hopefully in a week or two we can have some meets!!!!.

 

What about trying to meet up at one of the local Tracks in the area on a Saturday or Sunday. I have not run my G on a Track yet but have been to a couple of events already. There is a lot of interest in regards to the G. I was told by more than a few people that they have seen a bunch of 350's but no G's on the Track.

 

anything is fine by me. i think what needs to happen is for someone to stepup to the plate and decide something. it could be at a parking lot/event/whatever.

There is a big Mitsubishi Event April 26th at English Town. I am going with my friends performance shop (www.rippmods.com). He has the patents on superchargers for 3rd gen Mitsu's. It is the first annual Mitsu shoot out and it should be interesting.

He is looking in to the G/Z market to see if there is a demand for superchargers. Definitly would be nice to bolt on another 80+ hp.

I am trying to get to E-Town on a Friday night for open racing. Usually better to try running on non event days. Might be a good time for a meet.

Either of the Sports Compact Nationals are good events so I would be up for a meet.

 

OK listen someone has to really get up and decide a date for a meet no more ideas someone just pick a date, time and a place and whoever can go will go. If no one want's to do this i'll wait a week and if not i'll post somewhere to meet the next weekend.

 

I am definitly heading to E-Town April 26th. It could be a start. Short notice for a formal meet, but if a few people can make it it could be time spent working on an actual meet. If we get enough interest we can look into renting out Pocono Raceway for a day. Ideas like that.

 

Well that would be amazing to rent out the raceway, but as i see people don't seem interested in having a meet. You read in the westcoast forum and they have meet almost every 2 weeks. I hope we can atleast have one sometime this year.

 

tought to get interest. I have some friends in the Viper Club. The Club rents out Pocono Racey way a few times a year. I am trying to find out how much it is to rent the track. You get enough people interested it can be done.

importfanatix.com has frequent meets in the nj/ny area. they are having a fairly large meet this coming saturday at roosevelt park. there are a coupla members from freshalloy.com that are showing up. if we got enough people going, i say we represent this board. i know the time says 5pm, but it looks like there wil be early birds @ 3pm. details are as follows:

How do you get there from NY. If anyone knows please let me know in detail because I hate getting lost in NJ. Oh by the way i heard there's a meet going on this sunday also right off the george washington bridge, but this a g35 meet only i'm not sure yet where exactly its going to be. If i get more info i will post it and let you guys know and maybe this can be a good start.

 

hehe, actually i have no idea how to get there either, i was actually gonna wing it =D. as for sunday, i dunno. as i finished posting my last post i forgot that I'm gonna go to the autoshow w/ my father inlaw. most likely on sunday.

Meet going on this sunday at this huge japan magazine store. The address is 595 River Road Edgewater, NJ 07020. It will start at about 2ish so everybody try to make it we will be discussing future meets and events.
