Just wanted to find out how the meet in Rockville turned out. How many Z's/G's showed up? How was the weather? Any interesting or must have mods? How about some pics? And when is the next meet?

 

My eperience was terrible! First of all it rained pretty much the whole way down and back then we made a wrong turn on Rockville Pike per Mapquest and sat in traffic for about 1.5 hours to go about 10 miles then the lot at Hooters was full with no parking then on the way home we got caught in 2 hail storms. I can't really tell if there are any dents cause the car is so filthy but I'll have to wash it to see. I'm not going to anymore meets or car shows period!

Sorry to hear about that Cactus. Yesterday I heard that there were close to a hundred accidents and that I-95 was completly shut down. I didn't hear about the hail until this morning, I hope your car is okay.

The Z's from evolution were absolutely sick... They are in the process of hosting the pics on my350z.com. Wish I would have had a camera there... There were at least 15 FI cars there as well - prolly around 8 turbo'd Z's and 2 SC G's.... It rained on the way up and was nice for the few hours we were there. Evolutions 3 latest magazine cars were there, including the current points leader Z and the convertable turbo'd Z that looks real mean. Hopefully they get the pics up soon...

Well that was pretty much the opposite of my experience. I rolled in around 1PM and just when I got there the light rain stopped. There was around 30 Zs and maybe 10 Gs when I was there. Ended up leaving after talking with a few of the other people briefly. Took some pics and looking for hosting for them right now.

Well I finally washed her and miraculously there are no dents at all! For being in 2 separate hail storms I think I was really lucky not to have damage and not to get caught in that huge pileup on 95. At one point I was doing close to 100 mph in pouring rain and hail trying to get to the overpass off in the distance. I'm so happy I think I'll go out to the garage right now and look at her again!!!!
