I would most likely jump in as well depending on when. I just need to pick up and install my exhaust.. and pay off my wheels. I guess for me it would most likely have to be late spring.

What did you end up deciding on for an exhaust?
We still haven't managed a meet to show/hear the FI.

Thats just the thing Scott, I still haven't decided haha. I keep jumping around between Invidia and FI. We will have to meet up before I make my final choice but not sure how long I want to wait... I want more noise! Exhaust is next on my list trying to see what tokico does with their struts before I drop the G. I might sell my Eibachs and go with coils.

^^Get coils..u will thank yourself later when the snow comes and u have to raise the car up...and then slam it when the springs comes back..just make sure to buy a quality brand..i love the Stance coils for the G...BC is good too..but if u really want sumthing good, then get sum Ohlins...i wished i had gone with coils..but i did the Tanabe springs and Tokico shocks instead just cuz i wanted to save a lil money..i could've spent a lil more and got coils instead...

Steve, I have a V36 sedan remember? It's Mike I met you at the Merrimack Auto Show.

The only coils that you mention that I believe is made for my sedan is the BC coils which are on my list of options.

I've always worried about coils holding up because I drive mine all year long through salt and crap.
Adjustments, I've heard, become a PITA after the coils are subjected to NE winters.

That was the other end of it for me. If it would even be worth me even doing an alignment every time that I wanted to raise or lower the height. Plus Tokico seems like a great company as far as customer service and I do already have the springs..

thats the only thing holding me back from going coils too.. after 1 winter with new coils in my buddies civic, it was almost impossible to adjust with all the corrosion, rust and crap between the threads. and he barely drove the thing after it snowed..

Personally, I'm starting to think about a used Jeep or Tacoma for winter driving before I get anything else for the G

Boys I think we got way off the subject of tunes.

However, if we are going to stay off topic I plan on picking up a beater next year to do most of my winter driving/grocery getter. I think I will end up with like a 5-6k Golf (worried about reliability) or a Legacy wagon. I thought about a jeep or truck but I just want something a little more enjoyable to drive.

I had a 96 Tacoma and kick myself every time I think about the day I sold it.
That truck kicked @ss. It got great MPG, was awesome in the snow and it looked good too.
I'll take anything that gets me to work safely and avoids any unnecessary winters in the G, but I want my damn Tacoma back.
