Sunset Tint in Cranston RI did a halfway decent job on my G. Wasn't overly impressed, but other than Aeson Virus' job with the Huper optik or whatever ($450), I haven't been overly impressed with anyone's tint job. I don't know why...

Mine was done @ Tint King in Bellrica.
Brian does awesome work over there and you don't have to go ceramic if you're looking for a great install without the ceramic price.

I paid $240 for non-ceramic tint at Tint-King. Like Aeson said, Brian's great and it's all computer-cut there, so it comes out near perfect.

Sounds about right.
My Huper Optik was $400 per car for two G35's
He said his regular price was $425 for the ceramic.
That was a few years ago though.

If it requires many sigs and a petition, you're in for a lot of work.
You'll need to hit the MA regional section of every single car enthusiasts website and forum... it's the only way and a complete pain in the a$$.

Only other way to get sigs is by sitting in front of a stop & shop or something, and most normal everyday people don't give two hoots about tint or us "derelicts" who drive our sports cars.

Like I said, I'll be your first sig and if you're serious, I'll even help to persue signatures.
I know a source where we can get 400+ sigs by the end of the week.
Problem is, you'll need at least 9,600 more before anyone takes us seriously.

You need a legit reason for wanting to lower it. A few kids with sports cars crying "It looks cool" have a big battle against motor vehicle safety groups and law enforcement unions. It is SCARY as sh*t stopping cars with dark windows.

I agree. I can't imagine the feeling as you aproach the side of a car.

CT laws are a little better than MA. In CT, you can go as dark as you want on the back window but the sides remain 35%. Darkening the back window does help a lot for the overal look since it blocks out a lot of incoming light.

I agree with Mass though. We stand as much chance of lowering the tint law as we do legalizing fireworks.
One moron blows off a thumb and we all suffer.

How many states allow darker than Mass? Not many. And being this far North, the "oh it's too hot" excuse isn't going to sell well.
