Should I? Need advice!

I know this is way in to the future but i just wana get some opinions

Ok so my home is in NJ but my car is in CO since thats where i go to school. i was wondering if i should make the drive back to jersey instead of flying back for summer or even ship the car back one way and drive it the other?

every time i am back in jersey i always miss my G more than ever because no matter where i look there is one... and i want to attend some meets and stuff since i ve never been to one also i plan on gettin my headlights done up at 180. Another thing is when i come home me and my brother have to share one car which gets to be a pain sometimes...

so yeah LMK wha you would do

thanks!

All I see here are the pros... are there any cons, other than having your car stolen and stripped down to the bone?

Sounds like you've already made up your mind.

I would drive it. Just the fact that I can use my own car whenever I want would be enough for me to do so.

hahah

oh the cons are its a 28 hour drive so i would lose about 4 days of summer break... and its going to put about 4000 miles on the car to go to jersey and back plus the additional mileage i would be adding on driving all around jersey dunno if 4000 miles to some people

oh and not to mention the potential speeding tickets.... and i made the drive once there isnt much except farm land most of the way...

Eh, you only live once and you could put on 4K doing worse things.
Do it.

I plan of taking my G out to Chicago this coming Summer.
It takes 14-15 hours when I drive out in the MDX with the family.
I'm shooting for 11-12 in the G.

You could ship your car... Won't put miles on your car and save gas money... The only downside is shelling out a few hundred bucks... Personally, I would drive it... I put 29k on my car last year and enjoyed every mile.

I would get the 3M protection film and put it on side skirts, hood and front bumper or all the way if I had the money and drive it. There is no greater joy than driving your car. A car is ment to be driven and the distance is not that bad. However pick a time when the weather is better.

Since I'm out of work, you can fly me out there and I'll drive the car back for you for gas and expenses only.

Thats not to bad 500-700 dollars to ship.

3x hotels at $39 <if your lucky 127 with tax

Gas $480 at 3 bux a gallon at an average of 25 miles a gallon over 4000 miles

Dinner and meals depends on you.

Your looking at $607 just in gas and hotels. Not to mention any tolls.

If you want to find a cheap shipping company use this site:

http://www.uship.com/

It works great because you just fill in the information as in where you want the car shipped from and where too and so on... And different shipping company's bid on how much they can take care of it for you... Of course bids descending... then you can send counter offers and so on...

I had a SUV ( my 2008 honda pilot to be specific ) ... Shipped from a Toyota Dealership in Martinsburg, West Virgina to Buffalo, NY from there i imported it into Canada... But the shipping company Charged $320 and great guys no issues what so ever and even when the driver got there i was late heading up there... About 2 hour drive down there and i left an hour after he called so buddy waited 3 hours for me ...

Hope that helps a bit.
