Went out to get some gas at my usual gas station. This street was pothole city. I was so afraid i was going to ruin something on the car aka new tires. I don't think i am going up or down that street until spring and they fix it. God i can only imagine how many cars have been ruined on that road

sounds alot like route 99 beginning at Sullivan Station going into Everett leading up to the rotary where you can pick up route16. It looks like there were IEDs under the street that went off. Cracks turned into potholes which turned into blast craters big enough to swallow tractors. I avoid that area at all costs now when I'm over that way

the thing you gotta hate about living in this region is all the streets are paved with tar as compared to concrete like the highways down south. I love how the highway in FL is setup so they can pull out pieces of it like legos and replace them with new pieces when one is heavily damaged. As compared to here where they close down 2 lanes at a time in rush hour traffic to simply fill in new tar as if its not going to just be gone in a couple months anyway instead of really fixing it by paving over a much larger section to avoid it getting torn up so quickly

x2. Isn't concrete smoother to drive on as well?

Concrete can't handle our climate changes, unfortunately.... not to mention all the salt we use. Concrete hates salt.

I have roads that are totally out of the question until repaired.

Impossible for me. Just to leave the yard I have to drive through some decent holes and then pretty much anywhere I go I'm dodging them. Kinda funny driving down the street weaving back and forth.

roads down south are flatter so its smoother...thats why ppl in FL and TX can run slammed to the ground...if i had a choice, i'd be on bags down south...

you gotta love that section of Mass Ave just before Berkley where the McDonalds is on the corner. 18 wheelers have worn a rut in the road where the tires constantly are so if you're slammed on coilovers and in the right hand lane you run the risk of sme serious damage to your undercarriage assuming it doesn't eat your bumper alive first
