Hurrican Irene

Everyone living in the northeast ok? I'm in central PA, the rain started around dinner time and continues all through the night with 50MPH wind and torrential down pour. It wasn't as bad as the coastal states but bad enough for several injuries including 2 deaths in my city.

We seemed to get through this one with relative ease.
A few downed lines and a bunch of people without power, but that's about it.

If I'm up to date with the news, there's only been a few deaths from this storm. Considering the size, slow traveling speed and how much land it covered, that's a miracle in itself.

2 deaths in Central PA? that's weird, I don't even think there was any deaths in NYC, and we're coastal

Well, one of the death was the person hitting a tree driving head on around 2AM sunday morning. The other death was a tree falling down on him.

Tons of damage around here, but I never lost power. Many others did. I was without internet+cable until last night though.
