With the holidays behind us now, here we go G Squad community. Our first meet of the New Year at Atlantic Infiniti of Lynbrook with an indoor Car Wash and DIY, so get off the couch and roll with us.

G SQUAD CAR WASH and DIY part II

Atlantic's Service Manager Bob Dolan will be opening the Service Department especially for the G-Squad. Soap and water will be supplied by Atlantic Infiniti but for those G lovers that use their own special sauce, bring it and and anyother special washing material that you use specifically for your pride and joy. Space will be available indoors for drying off your G.

Food wise, this will be a BYO (bring your own) eats. The Squad will provide soda and chips.

Glines will be forming at the CVS parking lot and at Cunningham Park. The times for these gatherings will get posted later. If the people up north want to set up a Gline coming down, please send an email with the details and it will get posted for you. For all G-Line (caravan) locations please go to G-Line Info

Please keep the attendee list On Topic. If you are not going to be able to make it please don’t post this in the attendee thread, it just complicates things. If your status is Maybe, please wait to post when you know that you are attending. The Raffle list is still being compiled and will be posted.

To keep things running smoothly and so that everyone can participate in the meet we need volunteers who are willing to give up an hour during the meet to help out. If you want to give a lending hand please send a Private Message or an email to gsquad@nygoc.com your help is appreciated.

Now for the DIY’s and WADI’s ( Watch AL Do It ) . With the overwhelming interest at our last meet many of the DIY’s turned into WADI’s. Our good buddy Al aka alsg35 got lost in our last meet with his head in a wheel well or under the hood of someone else’s G. At the end of the day he was all dirty and Al didn’t know that there was a meet going on (poor Al he missed all the fun). As many of our members can attest to, Al doesn’t need to be asked, he just jumps right in and helps out. With all that said it was decided that we need to get a handle on things and it resulted in the following if Al is going to help you out.

If you do the work with me (Al) help (show and tell) No Charge.
If I do the work:
Short ram intakes $20.00
Air Filter $10.00
Front Bulbs $20.00 two or more Bulbs.

With the cold weather of January we may have to limit the DIY’s do to the indoor space limitations of Atlantics facility and the amount of cars that will be participating in the washing. Every effort will be made to accommodate all but cooperation is needed by everyone. Lifts and car jacks in the service department will be available to us if you need to get your car hoisted in the air.

Important note for the people that are in process and all newbees. Please make sure to see whoever is taking attendance so that we know you made it to the meet. The person(s) who will be taking attendance will be announced as we get closer to the meet date.
