Hi, newbie here...

Any Jersey people here with the G35 Coupe 6spd M/T?

What price did you pay for it and what dealer should I go to?

Insurance price? With whom? Im 25,single,no points, clear record.

Im not really crazy about options,just basically a bare bones 6 M/T coupe.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Expect to pay MSRP. Go to Infiniti.com and price out your car with options and that's what you will pay plus tax.

As for insurance I'd expect you to pay no less than $2000 per year. Because of your age and the car is listed as a 'high performance vehicle" by insurance companies. I am 31 have no points, never did, no accidents and pay $1700 under Liberty Mutual.

I bought mine at Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ and had good results. I paid $34,265 for OB 5AT with premium and trunk mat.

I'm right next door in Delaware and am paying MSRP. The dealership here in Newark, DE is incredible to work with!!! As far as insurance goes, I'm getting the 6m/t LR coupe and was quoted $910 for 6 months with full coverage. If you're interested in checking out what Delaware has to offer, give Winner Infiniti a call and ask to speak with Alex Witham who's the manager (302) 292-8250 and tell him Ryan sent you. You won't be disappointed...promise.

Agreed. Score another for Winner Infiniti. My guy was Eric Mosely. A short hop from NJ (south Jersey, that is).

Price, probably MSRP ... still. Expect it to be that way for awhile.

Im waiting for a test drive but its hard to get. The 350Z is also my other choice, havent test drove that either.

The Z has more problems from what I've heard, and is a lot less real-world practical (no back seats, to start - and can you fit a golf bag in the trunk?). Don't bother driving one - just get the G35. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Man, what an incredible machine... driving w/ the wife last night, slow in a parking lot in 1st gear... maybe 10 MPH, about 2,000 RPM's, and punched it just for a few seconds... I thought I was gonna break my neck! "Gotta love that torque..." my wife muttered. Indeed!

I just test drove the 350Z this weekend...eehh, its ok, its quick, but the shifting is a little notchy, maybe bec. Im used to Honda trannys. It feels a little cheap, considering its almost as expensive as the G35.

Funny thing, I sat in the G35C and I felt a better experience with that over actually driving the Z! Maybe bec. CH Nissan dealers were a$$holes, which turned me away from the car.

We'll see! I think I am ready to spend a couple more for back seats,leather, and 18s.
