Exclamation Local Garage Recommendation?

I Need to get my brakes done, around 57K. Infiniti of Norwood quoted me around $750 for re-surfacing the front and back rotors with pads? I don't know any local garage owners?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Local Nissan dealer would be much cheaper than Infiniti. Any shop that works on cars can do this, it's not difficult.

For that price you can buy new rotors and pads for all wheels and installed.

Yea, so I purchased Power Slot Slotted Brake Rotors for front and rear axle with Akebono ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pads. But Infiniti quoted me around $375 for labor to replace the front and rear axle rotors and pads etc...does that sound reasonable?

Did more research and called few local garages in the area. Got close to $200 quote to use my own parts and do the job. Called up Jt Motoring in Hyde Park, MA and found the best deal there!

you could do this yourself pretty easily if you are down with getting your hands a little dirty and have a few spare hours.

Yea I love cars and I know all the technical stuff about cars. But I am just scared to work on them.... I am an engineer, I can debug software or build a circuit. haha

haha well you cant really mess it up. If you follow the DIYs its kind of like making ikea furniture. hardest part will probably be breaking some of the bolts loose. But i get it, I was like that with my first car and it was a beater

Yea, I totally agree. My justification is that, I would care less if my few hundred dollar furniture broke. I can go buy a new one but If I messed up my $30K car, I would be devastated!

Maybe when my car goes over 150k miles.

If you want to drive to southeastern Nh, I have a heated garage and tools. I'll be glad to show you how to do it.
