HELP: DIY Window Lift Motor Change... need assistance

I need to change the window Lift motor both on the driver and passenger side. I tried to do it myself. I managed to disassemble the door, but I had a very difficult time unscrewing the screws that hold the motor in place. I tried to use the "PB Penetrating catalyst" spray, but that didn't have any noticeable effect.

I bought the replacement motors, but I need help from someone who's done it before who can help... well... unscrew those 6 screws for me (3 driver side + 3 passenger side). I can do the rest myself.

This is for a 2004 G35. I live in the Hoboken area, and I can drive to you, as long as you're not _too_ far away

I'll pay for pizza (or something healthier) and beer if you're game... any takers?

Yea those 3 screws were a b!tch to deal with. Something i would suggest if its even possible to really get in there, is grab a little torch and heat up the screws a bit. Then get the pb blaster again and soak em. Heat will contrat the metal allowing for the pb blaster to penetrate a bit. Its what i do with those super stubbor suspension bolts. Good luck with that man!

That's a brilliant idea... unfortunately, I don't have a torch, so I still need assistance :-/

Thanks for the pizza offer, I'm in Florida though.
There was a DIY "Sticky for Window Motor Repairs/" in the forums. I give the link below. The guy explains that the screws are soft and can strip. You need to find a phillips head driver that has a wide nose. press with your body weight then twist slowly. This worked for me. If you have stripped the screws, I don't have an answer for you.

I did this project today; took 2:30 hrs, I took my time with it not to break the glass or scratch my tint, and strip any screws. Now it works great and I saved money ordering the lift motor thru Autozone as suggested by a fellow G owner.

I saved $161 for the part, compared to the dealer's part price.
Not to mention the Labor.

This was Great. Thanks

There is a great HD video of a G35 window lift replacement on YT and yeah that guy struggles with those motor screws. He ends up with a really large Phillips head and got them to break free. Not looking forward to that part of the fix.

I just use a 1/4" drive ratchet with a 1/4" socket then put a #3 phillips bit (pretty sure that was the size, definitely not #2) INTO the socket. Plenty of leverage, I've replaced both my window motors without any issue.
