Looking for a good shop in NoVA area to replace bushings

hi guys..

I'm looking for a good shop who does good work at reasonable rates to replace my compression rod bushings.

I took my car to Curry's and they gave me an estimate of $700 which I thought was crazy.

Also, has anyone used the updated bushings from Energy Suspension? The guys at Curry's said he didn't think these ES bushings were the same size as the factory ones.

I did a search on this and got mixed feedback.

Thanks in advance.

I have done a lot of search on this topic. The labor is too costly just to replace some rubber parts. Beside, the ball joints attched to the comp. rods will go pretty soon. I replace both comp. rods and the ball joints for $600, not at the dealer of course. The rods come either with or without ball joints. Get the ones with ball joints. You can get the rods at parts.com which sells OEM parts and take them to a shop to have them installed

Moved to regional forums. OP I'd also look around in the NGC subforum as they're active in the NoVA/MD/DC area IIRC
