Any local Massachusetts guys here who are tuned/with hfc/Arts recently pass inspection?

I have always passed in the past 3 previous inspections, this one not so. Anyone had a similar experience. I have to go to a MAC center for re inspection.

obd. I've been researching and it is very common for all tuned cars in MA, now

 

I had mine done last month and I asked the inspector what is specifically scanned on the obd. I asked because I know my car runs a little rich in the cold and I can smell some of the fumes. He said it checks the emissions are in acceptable levels (O2 sensor) and checks to make sure there are no stored codes. If there are stored codes, they need to be checked further.

I dont know whats up with your car but check if there are any stored codes... If not, then Im guessing you failed on your emissions. This is all my best knowledge, I do not operate an emissions station, but the guy that runs this garage is a one-man-show and seemed knowledgable on the subject.
