Where to go to get your short block build? MA, NH, RI CT, any one?
Hi G drivers,
I'd like to know where is the best (quality, pricing & trust) place/shop to get the engine built? I was quoted $2500
for labor (yes, just labor) for a long block in central MA. I have to supply all parts. I do not think I'd go this route. My other option is just to beef up the short block and keep the heads as stock. I'm trying to be around 500-550 rhp with my Greddy twin turbo. I'm running 6 psi at 378 rhp as of we speak with stock engine. I have trouble finding shops that would do just the short block. Please guide me throuh this. I'm from MA. 01605. Stock heads are capable of handling 500+ rhp?
Thanks in advance
Ned

Just as PSSSH said...talk to Scott up at Ballistic. He's built my motor for my setup as well as quite a few of my friends. Tell him Erik sent you he'll hook it up for sure!

Let us know how the motor build goes man
