Where to go to get your short block build? MA, NH, RI CT, any one?

Hi G drivers,
I'd like to know where is the best (quality, pricing & trust) place/shop to get the engine built? I was quoted $2500 for labor (yes, just labor) for a long block in central MA. I have to supply all parts. I do not think I'd go this route. My other option is just to beef up the short block and keep the heads as stock. I'm trying to be around 500-550 rhp with my Greddy twin turbo. I'm running 6 psi at 378 rhp as of we speak with stock engine. I have trouble finding shops that would do just the short block. Please guide me throuh this. I'm from MA. 01605. Stock heads are capable of handling 500+ rhp?
Thanks in advance
Ned

Scott @ Ballistic Motorsports in Bow, NH is the place to go for that kind of job. All of us locals in Boston use him for anything motor related

Just as PSSSH said...talk to Scott up at Ballistic. He's built my motor for my setup as well as quite a few of my friends. Tell him Erik sent you he'll hook it up for sure!

Keep the heads stock if you are only shooting for 500-550
