Sad news....

Hi NE Gdrivers,
My name is Ned. I'm a member here for 7+ years. I've owned 4 Gs and 1 Z during this span. My beloved TopSecret Gold G35 wide body was caught on fire in the trunk area on 02-20-13. Sad news is... " no insurance during winter months... Just basic". I'm about $30k in the drain. I'm trying to recoup what I have left on this G.

The car just turned 19k miles last November when I stored her for winter months. I'll have a lot of parts available but mostly will be sold to other Gdrivers in Central MA. I can give you guys some used and new parts that I'll have available:
New- 600 CC DW injectors, CJM stage 0 fuel return kit, Tomei down pipe, Oruga Carbon twin disc clutch, a set of discontinued Maya GR5 20" in silver with BBK friendly, plus more.
Barely used: greddy twin turbo kit 18g, fully built long block ( under 2k miles), Spec ST twin disc ( under 2k miles), Stoptech 4/2 red with new pads, Jic Magic AR2 under 2k miles, HKS exhaust with fire damage ( cosemetic) clearcorners.com head lights (led) oem clutch ( new) oem flywheel under 5k miles, JWT used flywheel around 10k miles, AAM fuel return kit stage 1.,and many more.... My email is zturbo911@yahoo.com
Once I've removed all available parts, I'll post them in the classified section. Anyone that lives close by, just shoot me an email, I'll make myself available to show.
Thank you
Ned
I just bought myself an s550 to walk away from our vq35... Not for long

What caused it ? My best guess is ... Gas leakage, fuel return kit/line failure + hot exhaust?
Since insurance co isn't paying for it... No investigation is conducted. I was driving on 395 S at normal speed and smelled strong ordor of gas.... Pulled over, saw fire+ smoke coming from the rear bumper, just above the exhaust system.... Fire department arrived shortly after.
I had no time to remove my duty gear except for my gun belt. My duty vest, winter gear, leather jacket, hats, iPad, iPhone 5, cash... All history!!! If the incident happened after 04-01-13, I'd get a replacement valued at $50k for this G. It's time to walk away. I'm glad I walked away safely.
My department wouldn't pay for my new duty vest. I'm wearing ones from last decade now. Hopefully, it stills work :-)
Take care
Ned

Blk interior!!!!
The fire started by the trunk and ended by my rear seat area. My true authentic Bride racing seats were partially damage :-(
Thanks for everyone that concerned about my incident.

Steven,
How's my Stillen Exhaust buddy?
As a matter of fact, I do have another set of true duo Stillen exhaust for 350z 03-07.
This set is used around 15k miles :-)
Good day
Ned
