Just picked up my G35S. Decided last minute against the body kit. I felt like the kit detracted from the good lines the car has. Besides that the car is loaded, and boy is 5th gear a torquey gear. This is gonna be a fuuunnnn car ;-)

Yeah, I hate driving in this town. It is so overcrowded. But I make excuses now to go out again :-) just so I can drive the G. I don't even remember how I came apon this car when I was car shopping. Infiniti has NEVER done anything for me as far as looks.

911 eh? That is my dream car (next car ;-) ) What year is it?

It is a 1978 911 SC Targa in mint condition. The previous owner tried to make it look like a 1990’s 911. He stripped the interior and put a 90’s interior in, also the Euro head lights and side mirrors. The tires, brakes and suspension have all been upgraded too. It does not have as much hp (~210hp) as the G35, but it does handle better. It has 104k (I've had it for 7 yrs.) on it and still is rock solid on the road. I’m a Porsche person at heart. I bought the G35 because I needed a sedan, and I felt it was the best out right now. I also do not feel like the G35 is a step down after drive the 911. The other sedans I had, felt horrible to drive after the 911, but not the G35. The 911 was a dream car for a long time for me too, keep dreaming and it will come.

Nice! The Porsche 911 is my dream car, too.

In fact, I had a dream of buying myself one for my 40th birthday last year. But the stock market failed to cooperate with me. (lol) So took part of the proceeds and had to "settle" for a new G35 Coupe instead ... lucky me!

The G35 coupe is a very nice car. The dealer I bought my sedan from tried to sell me the coupe. I wanted the 6MT sedan which was not available back in December when I placed my order. If I did not have the 911, I would have probably bought the coupe. I have a friend who bought the NISSAN 350Z. I tell you honestly, I like the G35 coupe better. Good luck with yours and don't give up on the 911 : )
