Engine washing in NY/LI/NJ area?

Hey guys, I been looking for a place that does engine/ engine bay washing, however have been coming up with same stories over and over again that many places no longer do that or chassis as well.

Anyone know where is a good place to take it to get it done right. Hoping to find a place that can do it with right equipment that's part steam part water.

Any help would be appreciated.

do you cover the alternator at all or just use small amounts of water? I use to wash the engine on my old cars but the alternator was always at the top and i never really covered it.

Just cover the alternator and any other exposed wires that may cause issues if they get wet. Don't go crazy on the water pressure either. I did mine plenty of times and no issues so far.

No I don't cover anything, I just use little water pressure.. I even wash the underside of the hood..
