Hi all,

I just picked up my '05 g35x a few days ago and have been finding quite a bit of good advice on this board.

I was wondering if anyone had experience having dealers do their clearbra installations? Since my car's a lease, I really don't want to take any chances with the install place so I'm considering using the dealer where I got it (Quirk in Braintree). They gave me a quote of $595 which seems the norm after searching the forums. Has anyone else had it done at Quirk?

Also, anyone know how the clearbra looks on the twighlight blue? I'm assuming very similar to black which makes me more apprehensive about the install since stretch marks and bubbles will be more visible.

Actually I have seen a TWilight blue G with a clear bra in a showroom at an area dealer (not Quirk). The clear Bra didn't look great, but it was under showroom lighting. Sorry I can't help more... Good luck.

 

I have seen cars with and without clearbras. I didnt want to get one because I couldnt stand to look at the line where it ends, however, i do now have a large chip in my hood. I am also from the Boston/Cape Cod area, and understand your aggrivation with stone chips ect. Quirk or Kelly Infiniti might be able to help you out. However, under NO circumstances go to Herb Chambers Infiniti on Commonwealth. NO CIRCUMSTANCES AT ALL. They are the worst dealership I have ever experienced. Hope I could help.

Sorry for the really late reply, but if you're still looking to get the clear bra, give me a call. I'm the Service Director at Quirk Infiniti and if you mention G35Driver.com I'll give you a sweet deal on the install. My installer, Brian, does the best installs that I've seen yet. He actually even did a custom install on my buddies G with a Kenstyle bodykit. He had to cut the kit on the fly as he installed it and let me tell ya, it came out absolutely incredible!
