INfiniti's G35 is aka the Honda Civic of the streets
I see no point to the comparision of the two CARS...
However, i do see a comparision in the owners (demographics)...A few year ago (say around 5 or 6) a lot of guys were in there late teens and were prally driving something like a Civic...Now that "we've" grown up a lil, got jobs, etc...the G is the logical next step for us (speed, pimp, price, etc)...so in our age bracket, yes, the G is a common car - i bet a lot of us G drivers are similar in that way...its the natural progression of car enthusists. In a few years well all be on the M3 forums, then onto the Porche 911 forums...Make sense?
The cars, no contest. I had a 2000 Prelude which will own any civic and my G blows the 'lude awaaaaay...

I had someone tell me the same thing when I mentioned I used to own one... The person I was talking ment it in a way that, the G35 is becoming the next civic, since people are do so many aftermarket mods to them. Which Is def true, since the aftermarket G35/350z parts are all over the place. And also that there are so many G's on the road. I see dozens a day.
LOL...OK that is the funniest and DUMBest statement of 2005!...LOL
UNLESS whoever said that must have meant it in the terms that Xlacrosse is mentioning....because thats the only way a G can be compared to a civic is peeps are mod crazy with them.
however the amount of different Mods available for the Civic far outweighs the G35 market.
the G is just the hotness on the market now....people are buyin an leasin them into hell HOWEVER....I also see a lot of people with fine wine taste and beer money
call it a civic when that lease payment or even worse loan payment comes a knockin...LOL
Civic!!???........LLLLMMMAAAOOO

Vance is def right the G is being purchased like mad out there... But in the same respect another thing I forgot to mention was that alot of the honda civic guys are getting older and getting better jobs.... and heading over to Infiniti dealers to get there next car to start modding...
I wonder how its gunna look in 10 years when todays civic kids are getting real cars. I wouldnt mind getting some inside info on that deal and start buying stock in XYZ car company

no way in hell, i see three times as many civics as i do G's. I live on Cape Cod, MA and there are 2 coupe, mine and a silver coupe that belongs to another kid that goes to my school. The sedan is much more popular than the coupe, but it still doesnt compare to a civic. In total, I have probably seen 4 or 5 G35's on the cape.
I just came back from Florida, however, and i did see more there, but still not nearly enough to compare to a civic. That comparison is out of the question.

Where is there any similarities?
Is the G35 common? In Northern NJ (Where you are from) you better believe it. I see one or two everytime I go out for a drive.

I never been told that G35 AKA the honda civic....but i do agree with u
ALOT of people are buying g35 when i got my 04 g35 coupein AUG. i think there were like 10 people i knew in woodbridge township that owned them, u would rarely see g35's, u would see them go into the g35 dealership at ray catena from time to time. NOW they are everywhere, 3 of my younger brothers friends have got them now, well their parents got them they jus drive it. The g35 is becoming more and more common. i swear i thought every1 won the lotto or sumthing cuz i see them all over the place....
STILL THEY ARE NO HONDA CIVICs
I WOULD salp the guy that said that....lol..
Also, i agree with MikeStarrG35 the're are alot of coupes owners, BUT hell of alot more sedan owners
