INfiniti's G35 is aka the Honda Civic of the streets

Has anyone else been told that their G35 is the comparision of Honda's Civic. I have heard different opinions of people saying that due to the price , G35's are almost everywhere. I hope this is not so. What has anyone else heard?

Well let us take a look:

05 Honda Civic Si $19,500
160hp/130lb ft tq
FWD

05 G35 Coupe $33,150
298hp/260lb ft tq
RWD

Where is there any similarities?

Is the G35 common? In Northern NJ (Where you are from) you better believe it. I see one or two everytime I go out for a drive.

Trust me bro, they're just jealous and are trying to bring you down...Occasionally I see 1 or 2 G's in a days worth of driving...However, there are times when I don't see any...Theres lots of them out there because of the value this car presents...No other car manufacturer offers a 300hp luxury coupe for 33k...My uncle has a Lexus Sc430 and everytime he see's my car he mentions how in many ways it reminds him of his car...Plus he knows that were comparable in speed "With a slight edge to my 6mt G" and he knows how well the G handles and STOPS! And last but not least he doesn't seem to forget that he spent 20-25k more then me, for a ride that he appreciates less then mine...And the last reason for the G35 being so popular is aside from the looks, power, performance...Its been rated best in class for resale value the last couple of years...Can't beat that...Let the haters hate, just make sure they hear that exhaust while they're doing it...

$33,150 I payed 40k after taxes for my G... I think the sticker was like 38k and some change. Did the price of G's drop from 03 to 05? Or is 33 base and if you add in aero, premium, and nav the price is 38k?

Almost everywhere?!?!?!

I can go a week without seeing another G...
Actually I've been approached by a gawking old couple the other day, and the old man goes: "say... that's a beautiful car you've got there... what is it? - a Porsche?"...

Now, confusing a G for a Porsche is something that I can understand...

LOL

I hear that man, it just pisses me off when someone brings down my ride. At least i must say when I see another G I do not try to overtake him and leave him in the dust like most civics and other car models. I enjoy the respect given to me and the respect I give to other G owners. When I see another G if I am next to him then I roll da windows down and say wassup. Last Saturday I saw a black G with a wing on my right, the dood rolled down his window and we peaced it up to say.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I will say this though, any civic who pushes up on me , there is no competition in performance. I throw my G into 2nd and whip that a$$$$$$. LOL.

That is the wackiest comparison I have read. How do you compare a $19K car to a $35K+ sport coupe/sedan? I definitely think the person who made the comment first has G envy.

no way man! i think the civics are G's wanna-be, but lack of power and everything else! there's no comparison there....
i have seen lots of G sedans around here (outside philly, west side), but not many coupes.
