That was a ton of info. It would be cool if he came out or if he posted. Right now he's just a owner of a g35 that drives it and has no thought of joining the g35/350 community of Hampton Roads. The tread was started to find g owners and to setup meets and what not. Most of the people on here come out a chill. A lot of us know each other well, help work on cars etc. i just didnt understand the sb ballard part. it would of been better if you just left out who his uncle is and how they live.

-You're on our thread to find some "local" G35 owners for your friend, who didn't drive anymore, cuz he's a "playa."
-You drive all the way from Roanoke to valet your boys G35, even though you have one too.

I felt like I was talking to a 4 year old about their first day of preschool and people in their class. "my bestfriend is SB Ballard's blah, blah...boat, car, drive, Maine, water...." I was just lost on how the post relates to the Hampton Roads (757) owners. There are like 50-70 year old owners in the area and you don't see people post about them. Why, beause they have no interest in meeting other owners. Theyre the type of people you see that just drive, no wave or thumbs up to other owners. You said your friend has no interest at all in cars like he did in the past. It seems like you do since you post n the forums. If your friend would like to join us state it or let him know about this tread, heck if your in the area and would like to chill hit us up. Hell since he's living the life can't he put together a meet? Look at sumospeed, they put together meets that benifit CHKD. I find that way more helpfull that trips on boats etc. Sumospeed thumbs up on helping the CHKD!

 

I'm not saying the SB Ballard doesn't do chairity work, but I don't hear about it. I hope they do. The way you talk about them makes it seem like they spend money on coctail (sp?) parties on boats to benifit art museums in london. youre really hypeing this guy up.

Why not spend some of the money he spends on trips on hotdogs and burgers for a Hampton Roads meet that benifits a local org like chkd or even cancer research etc? he goes the south beach 4 times a year, whats worng with only going 3 time a year so he could put together a car meet? im pretty sure most of the car clubs/people in the area cant afford trips 4 times a year or even 1 trips if any. yet they help the community out by putting together event or even attending these events.

 

I'm going to a autocross event tomorrow @ Pungo around 9:00AM for like a hour, who wants to come. JLink just did one in South Carolina few weeks back, and my boy Mr_X is going tomorrow. I want to check it out.

Yea, Autocross was pretty awesome, my buddy Rich with the 370z took home first of the novice drivers last time... SCCA is hosting another one in Greenville, I think, we are rolling to that one. Hopefully I can get my Sways by then.... then its go time

The guy that works on my car, Todd Wagner, does auto crossing. He drives a 350Z which is blue. Let me know if you see him today before leaving.
