The 370 wheels would fit under a coupe since you all can get wider tires than on a sedan.

I called it my "Red-Rimmed Beater", I even had custom plates being made saying "BEAT3R".

Well on the way to work this morning in stop and go traffic on Dam Neck, a white F150 stopped really quick due to traffic ahead stopping for the red light. Well I notice the F150 come to a quick stop, I tried to turn out of the way, but there was a car on my right and trees on my left. So I stomped on my brakes causing them to lock up and me skidding in the the rear bumper of F150. ABS was not a option for my a 1985 bimmer, so yea.

So full coverage insurance, with Towing and Rental car FTW. Or so I thought.
I get to Enterprise, and I start filling out the paperwork, and the lady takes me to this....

A super gaymoblie Beetle FTL. I ask if there were any other cars, and she that's the only available car in the VA Beack-Norfolk area. On the way to towing yard to get some stuff out the car, I'm at a red light when a truck full of contactors look over and start laughing at me. I call Enterprise begging to swap car with anything, I didn't care what is was at long as it was not a beetle, and the lady said call to tomorrow so see if anybody returns a car. That's not the answer I wanted to hear, but what can I do?

Around 3 PM Enterprise called me, and they said they had a girl that is driving a Dodge Avenger that wants the Beetle.
I have no luck with cars lately.

So I'm out in Portsmouth VA looking at a 1992 Lexus SC300 for my new beater. After looking at it I jump back in the Avenger to head back to VA Beach. I turn the key, and nothing....on the info display it says "buS". I know thats no saving this car now, so I called the rental's roadside asst, and talk to a rep. She telling me about how the battery must be dead, and it's going to cost me $60 to have someone come out and jump start the car. I'm telling her I petty sure it's not the battery. She transfer me to the office I got the car from in VA Beach. He gets the Portsmouth local office to come out and try to jump start the car but it doesn't work. They take me back and now I'm driving this...

At last a Nissan.

Had my G for 6 mos and the window motor just went out. I just dropped it off at CB, it'll be done today. Wow, that was a mighty chilly drive from Yorktown!

^^^I was lucky mine went out over the summer.

It's just about tax time, and I could either blow my money on the car or just save it. I kinda need a paint job and get some dings out of the body. The hood is kinda discolored in some spots. I wanna go all black, but don't wanna bite off Citymunky.

Any suggestions for a muffler or custom exhaust? I just want to do something cheap for the sound....or is that not possible?

Run a K&N or Amsoil Drop in filter for more intake sound and look at an axe back system. I don't know whats out there for a G37. I know Stillen has a full system.

I already have a short intake that sounds pretty sick when I am on it...at least from the inside.

K&N = Fail -->http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest3.htm

"...The poorer flowing filters, remove more particles, and the better flowing filters remove less particles. If you think about it, that conclusion passes any and all common sense tests, so it is not surprising. There are many that will be shocked by the results, that should not be though. I've used high performance filters in the past, and I might again in the future. At the same time, I know that the stock OEM type filters perform very well in filtration and don't inhibit flow nearly as much as some think... "
