I had to go through that when I had my Celica, but I figured it was because they were too dark. The car was black, and the tint pretty much matched the car.

Hello all. I just got back from my deployment down to New Orleans for the Oil spill last week. Since i been back i got my Nismo front bumper painted and installed and on Saterday i installed my Stillan oil pan and HFC's.

This might seem silly to ask but, how about tinted tails not painted. Is will inspections still fail?

 

va law states basically anything not oem you will fail, anything done to modify your stock light ie. covers or any type of film you will fail.

that doesnt mean that you cant find a person to pass you.

but it also gives police the right to stop you...

also imo tinted/sprayed light look like crap on light colored cars. to pull a clean look on a light car youll need a blacked out roof, carbon hood/trunk, or black rims. but thats me, its your car lol

 

oh and NISMO, there arent really any "import parts shops" in the area. there are just tuning and install shops. if you need any parts your best bet is online.

sage is a small parts/install/tune shop....if they dont have it they can get it. gary and his crew are good people.

 

selling my g35 this saturday and am trying to sell my mercury silver volk gt-s. however, if anyone is in need of some tires (Toyo T1R Proxes 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear) with 4K miles on them, i'd be willing to let them go. let me know. however, if you want the whole package to include wheels, i'm down. thanks guys.

I think williamsburg is a fair midway point, as a suggestion the Hooters at williamsburg is a good spot. I should be down for this, let us know tony.
