Time Sq. Meet sometime in OCT?

Hey guys, I was over at G35frenzy and some of the members suggested that we do a time sq. meet.

I think it's a pretty cool idea to have a bunch of G's and Z's in time sq. late sat. night/ early sun. morning. We can get one last meet in before this cold weather starts to come.

Maybe a little meet-up somewhere out side of NYC for dinner and a cruise out to the city?

Post away guys, lets hear some ideas.

Traffic shouldn't suck too bad late at night btw.

I've done it on several occasion's. Roads aren't too bad as long as you drive carefully. I was in the city with my Greddy bumper all over the place from chinatown/lower westside to the upper east side.

Just a thought, post up other ideas if you don't like the time sq. idea. We should get a meet before this summers gone for good.

I think it sounds like a cool idea...i always enjoy a nice ride up to NY - esp if its the city - but the only thing that concerns me is staying together as a group in Manhatten and also parking....where will we all park up or "hang out" in the times sq area??? To me, that is one of the best parts of any meet is the park-up and chill time...just a thought

Otherwise, i like the idea

that can be arranged i guess. I remember watching a dvd where a whole bunch of Scoobies parked around time sq. also remember like 30+ ferrerai's doing the same thing. Oh, and theres always Bikes parked in a line prob 30+ bikes all the time.

I'm pretty sure we'll find somewhere to meet up and chill.

I know that SQC chills in c-town all the time... so how about it guys?

Times Square on a Saturday night is kinda dumb. There is so much traffic in the city its rediculous, esp in Times Square, better to do it somewhere else. This Saturday it took me 10 min more to go into the city than it usually does when I drive to school on tuesday and thursday mornings at around 8AM.

Best bet is somewhere more convenient in the city like Mad Square Park which is right next to the FDR.

PS FDR is decent for people to drive on, as well as the roads to get to mad square park, avoid sidestreets and the low Gs wouldnt really have any problems.

unless we attempted to see how much the permits were but I am sure they are outta control! At that point it would pay to have a semi pro photographer too maybe get some free press too! LOL

Although if we got 100G's $20 a pop would be 2K which is probably 98K shy!!! LOL

I drive my coupe in the city most fri/sat nights. I even park it on the *GASP* street! Never had a problem yet (Knock on wood). You just have to avoid the potholes.

That being said there is no way unless it is some ridculous hour (4-6am) that you will be able to gather a bunch of cars in TSQ.
