I got quoted $750 for the 30k service... now that I call xpensive... but you know, you should expect to pay lots of money for dealer service on a car in the $35K+ category...

Yah, its just ridiculous $700ish for 30k service. My co worker is just complaining about it.

It doesn't matter WHO does the service, as long as you do it by the book and DOCUMENT what was done. ANY reputable mechanics shop should be able to service this car. I had the cabin filter replaced at the dealer last month and it was $50.

You guys can complain all you want.....at least warranty will help you out A LITTLE. US F/I guys have to foot the bill for just about every tiny piece of service from here on out. It's a rough deal, but thats the price you pay for the power.

is the 15k service really necessary? what do they do exactly? what are the cons of not getting this 15k service done?
