Angry Jersey Suxz A$$

I'm telling NJ is getting ridiculous with the way that they want to extort money out you.
When i had my accident on Jan 4 the cop wrote me a ticket for careless driving. I tried fighting in court since i believe the accident wasn't my fault.
The guy had come out of a parking lot on RT46 straight into the left lane.
Well needless to say judge said just pay it since the cop put in destruction of private property on the ticket whatever that means.
I paid it just fine thinking it was done and over with.
Well today i received a Surcharge letter saying i have to pay $175 Surcharge cause i had 5 points from all the way in Oct of '03 and 2 points cause of the ticket i was issued when the accident happened.
NJ Surcharge clause states that i have to pay a insurance surcharge if i have more than 6 points on my licence within 3yrs even though i had no points on my licence since 03.

What kind of BS is that.
Man i can't wait until Oct '06 so those 5 points from 3yrs ago disappear.
I'm telling NJ just loves bleeding its residents to death

O NO there are some pretty "ripe" places in NYC too. How about Flushing Bay at low tide.

yeah i didnt know about the surcharge or else i would have gotten a lawyer.
Anyway im paying it off tomorrow and come oct it will just be points in 3yrs.
Damn guy from the accident i was hoping to see some discounts come october from my insurance.
I don't know how much of a discount i will get now since instead of 5 points i will only have 2 in Oct and the accident.

dude, just take a 'defensive driving course' or a 'driver improvement class' like i did, it automatically wipes 2 points off of your license no matter what. you can it once every 3 years. just get it approved with your insurance/dmv first or whatever and make sure its a legit, certified company. the one i did was 6 hours on a saturday.. well worth it. it also gives you a decrease on your insurance.

i feel for u man..
thats wa u get for leaving brooklyn..lol. j/k
in ny its the same thing.. dmv will charge u a surcharge for any kind of moving violation or accident if u have points on ur liscense and i believe its bout 200 dollars or so.... deffensive driving will jus take ur points off ur liscense not off ur insurance and with the insurance it stays with them for 5yrs
