65, the only peeps allowed on the track will be anything that has an Infiniti or Nissan badge. This will go on from 9 am to just before the second session of the day starts which is about 4pm.

There will be a time allowed for anyone who would like to go head to head with a specific person aka 'grudge match' ...lol

From what you guys are talking about I have a feeling I'm going to get my a$$ burned on the track there. Are there any other requirements to race i.e. helmet or something. This is my virgin appearance.

helmet bro, helmet (you can rent one at the track for $5 iirc).
Make sure to bring your license and registration for the tech process.

Oh yeah... don't fill your tank for the trip. You wouldn't want that extra weight on the strip...

As to competition... I wouldn't worry about it. Most of the peeps running have only n/a (aka not applicable) mods.

To run the track you will need a Snell95 or higher rated helmet. After this year the requirement goes up to a Snell2000. If you can't borrow one or buy one I believe the track has them for rent.

Don't worry about getting your a$$ burned. There will be plenty of that going on and you won't be the only one ....lol It is more of a phun day and to run your car through it's paces.

Have no idea. I got mine off of eBay after doing some long a$$ research. Got it for a Knock off price!

I'd try a bike store.

Pep Boys even sells Helmets now... They have Bell's as cheap as $60 I think... Or like others said, you can rent one at the track.... Also, you must wear pants to race, NO SHORTS!!!...

Buying an approved helmet off of the net is kewl only if you know specificly what you are looking for and order the exact model and most importantly the size to fit you.

Like Speed mentioned a bike store may carry them but you would probably would be more successfull at a Motorcyle shop. They will probably have more of a selection and more important you will be able to try the helmet on for fit. Hate to see ya grab one off the net and you can't use it....

If you are going to purchase a helmet, I would also suggest that it is one that has the newest approval ratings as it will serve you for a much longer period of time.

Good luk with your searching. Let us know how you made out.

So much for keeping Diesels sign up thread clean and on topic.........lol
