Just check their web-site? it says it can seat up to 200 guest for banquet, so I am sure there will be fees involved, I am sure the lower level can seat 60 easy. The pics of the upper deck dinning room...http://www.restauranteur.com/gilberts/privdin.htm

hmmm...200. Maybe you can say you'd prefer to be upper deck. You don't need it to be private. I'm sure we'll be loud enough to make other leave

I will meet you there at 10:45

From South Bay to Capitola Mall --

Since we have not done this route before, so I suggest that for anyone who is interested in this caravan? Meet up at Fry’s electronics in 600 E Hamilton Ave Campbell, at 10:45am and leave there before 11am, its only 30 miles from Capitola but the traffic might be slow moving, I am hoping Hooman6MT would take led on this one.

Per Carol and my first visit to Gilbert's, one of the managers told us that we simply need 60 people to have use of the upper dining room. This would be great, if we could get that number of people to attend. I would expect our group to be just a bit too noisy for the diners downstairs, which may be an issue. Soooo . . . It would be nice to have the required number of people. I keep an watchful eye on the sign-up list and give Dave, the manager, a call a week prior to the run. That will give them a good idea of what to expect. On the day of the run, I will perform a head count. That count will ultimately determine where we will be seated, if the number of people has changed. As we leave the Serramonte parking lot, I will give them the said head count. As we leave the Capitola Mall, I will notify them that we are on our merry way.

What would help me make the proper arrangements . . . Is if everyone could make any adjustments to their guests counts. Hopefully, that will give us a better idea on the number of people attending to forward to the restaurant.

Andy, We can not assume that we are only group will be there that day, so I do think its good idea to make reservation soon just in case they might be booked for weddings, corp banquets or parties, it is summer time after all, we will get a exact head count when we get to Capitola Mall and then give them a heads up, hows that sound?

It would be nice to make the reservation, now, Shane. That's an excellent idea. I tell ya what . . . Go ahead and make the arrangements with Dave, if they will commit without a firm number. That will be one less thing to deal with later. I was proceeding per my original conversation with Dave. However, things can and will get mixed up. Go ahead and do it, Big Guy.

Hey, folks . . . Just got back from the Monterey Area. It's going to be absolutely gorgeous in another months time. I have invited a few friends to join in on the run. So, feel free to do the same. G, Z, or otherwise . . . Everyone is welcome to participate in this run.

Eloy, I am looking forward to meeting Misses Cru.
