For those of you whom are planning on joining the Hearst Castle Run . . . Please fill in some of the specifics. This will help the lead organizers tremendously . . . Thank you!

At the moment the 2 staging areas are in San Jose and in the Seaside area per the attached link. Please be so kind as to note the number of people, your choice of staging/meeting areas, and the number of people planning on having lunch at the Lucia Lodge located in Big Sur, if so desired.

I'm gettin my Stillen cat-back and test pipes installed right now...can't wait to stretch the legs a little on this run.

 

after missing the last one I want to go on this but I have one question. How many miles is it total round trip.

The reason I ask is I have 10800 miles on my car and need an oil change at 11,000. How much damage will I do if I drive over 3000 miles on the oil change?

Chris . . . Great! I am glad that you are coming to the run. I didn't get an opportunity to speak to you much at the Monterey Run. I'll have a few questions for you on Saturday.

The round trip mileage for me is some 500 miles. So, it will be around 400 miles for you. Simply check your engine oil level and make sure that it's full. Hope to see you there.

Hey . . . Chris and Mike, I am going to be at the Starbucks at the Serramonte Annex, which is located across from the Office Depot, at 6:30am on Saturday. That's on the other side of the street from where we all gathered for the Monterey Run. I'll be hooking up with a couple of buds there for the run. I plan to leave there at 7am. We will pick-up another car on the 101 in San Mateo as we drive by.

 

I'm okay with that, Bernice says she's down, only because she'll want a coffee about that time.

Did you take the 1 back? About 6 of us headed south on the 1 and took the 46 cross over at San Luis Obispo back over to the 101. Lots of long long long straight aways on the 101.

I camped out in Monterey and got back this morning. It was a great run. Glad to see you there.
