need help: Anyone installing in cabin air filter?

I just got my grounding gear HEPA activated carbon air filter and I don't have a clue on how to install it. Anyone in the sunnyvale / san jose/ cupertino area has experience in changing the filter or is installing it too? I'm hoping that someone could instruct me when i install it so nothing goes wrong. My car stinks every first few mins i turn on the AC . Appreciate all the help. Thanks.

1. Underneath the glove compartment, there is a plastic cover. Pull down and slide towards you, doesn't require a lot of force.
2. pull on plastic doorsill trim to pop loose to access the passenger side plastic interior trim located near passenger right foot and remove that also. One plastic nut and two clips that pop out towards the driver.
3. Remove two screws underneath that hold the glove box as well as all the screws inside the glovebox when open. Pull and pop out glove box and all the plastic trim attached to it.
4. Filter is located in the white retangular latch. Undo that and place the filter inside. Right side unlatches then slide it to the right and it will come right out.

does the filter actually solve the smelly A/C problem?? i thought that was from some mold that needs to be fixed by spraying stuff in the vents?

I think Cloud would able to find out after replacing the in cabin filter. Check the engine in front of the air intake to see any wet tree leaves and I totally agree with absolutg about spray some anti-mold into these air vents...
good luck,
