So there seems to be a few meets coming up but when is the next run?

A Tahoe run would be cool.

Hearst Castle Run... AGAIN, but G35's this time? Socal/Norcal G35 meet?

Andy and Shane must be tired or busy since I don't see another run getting started up already. hahaha.

 

Let's try doing a G and Z run if we can set something up. I think that'd be pretty fun. There's a Monterey run on my350z in late September (I have no idea why it's that late) that I'm sure G's are invited to as well.

 

I think the Tahoe one would be the best, and has been mentioned. Closer for us Sacramento folks this time . The only question becomes dates and route. Perhaps I will have to research that this week and make a suggestion.

 

I'm finally moving out in the next week or so, so count me in.

 

I want to do a Tahoe run. I'm pretty much booked for the next 4 weeks but anything after that (read September) is open for me. Let's go. Perhaps we can discuss this at the FF meet?

 

Actually it has been quite, not much posting from Shane or Andy but I do see them roaming the board. I think everyone is busy doing others things or I am sure we would have started something by now, also the weather might have something to do with it...it is hot as hell right now.

 

I'm going on a run with my son with the S2K club this Sunday from Gyserville to Stewarts point. I will check this out as a possible run for our G's, will let you know the 6th at Fairfield. Also heading up to Tahoe next week, so I can scout a route. I Agree, too hot......

I wish I could hiding from the heat. Where I work, there are no trees at all, new building and new little trees. In general, it is a bit far for me to meet any meet after I moved back to Fresno from Sac last month . I'd try to make some of the meets but not all, please dont think that I am too good to hang out with you guys/ladies!

How bout the following drives?...


Late August -- North Bay Drive

From Mill’s Valley to Marshall via Hwy 1 thru Stinson Beach, details to come in couple of days…


Sept -- Tahoe Drive

Someone else would have to step up and plan this drive as I have no interest in going to this drive , but if nothing materialize by end of Aug? we can move the following meet/drive up or we can simply do a Standford to Santa Row meet.


October -- Santa Cruz Drive

Need I say more?


November -- Monterey Drive

Devil slide should be open for this drive!



January of 07 -- Red Robin/Treasure Island Meet/Drive
We have been doing this drive couple times now, and we usually have decent turn out, will stop by Embarcadero/Pier 30 with Bay bridge in the back ground for a nice photo session.


March of 07 -- Inaugural Nor/So Cal meet.

We have tried to make this happen couple of times in the pass but it somehow fizzled and never materialize, in coming weeks I will start dialogue with people from SoCal to iron out some of the details. Ideal location would be at Pismo Beach as its about half way between Nor/So Cal, Hearst Castle/Santa Barbara would work as well, I am open to any and all suggestions and this is the time to throw your two cents in, will try to nail down the location/date by end of this year, lets make this thing happen!!!


April of 07 -- Dyno Day

Probably will be at Modacar again, price should be 40~45 bucks for 3 pulls.



The dates/locations are somewhat tentative, I post them now just to give people an idea as what and when some of the up coming events are being planed, when the meeting date approachs(4~5weeks or so) I will post more details, again, I am open to any and all proposal for the meet/drive, if you have a specific drive in mind? Or anything might make meet/drive more enjoyable? please let me know.

On the side note, there is a great chance that I wont have my G35 much longer, if it isn’t an issue with you guys/gals? I will continue to setting up/organize the meets/drives, and will help anyone who is willing to step up to organize future meet/drives.

 

The road down to Stinson is nice. We used to rail thru those twisties at the crack of dawn on Sunday mornings back when I had my R1.
