One of our fellow NorCal G members needs our help. Vinh (drsifu1) with the Lambo yellow G coupe is in the running for a "Reader's Rides" feature in the premiere issue of Nissan Sport Magazine. yeah, i was back at FA in September, 2002 before i bought my car in May, 2003.

reading that forum everyday. that forum was quite imformative for a newb.

I know it goes without saying but just be sure we aren't making a bunch of "fake" profiles. They are already making a big deal about Vinh and his friends asking for outside help. Take a look at all the posts on that site.
Best of luck Vinh, we all know your a stand up guy and your car is looking damn good! I would love to see it on the cover of their mag.

 

I think I can speak for most here when I say "We wouldn't do that". I'm confident that everyone will be fair and only vote once. Anything else would not be consistent with the people I've met from NorCal G.

And for the cry babies on FA that are whining, they can all kiss my @ss.

 

Well said! lol Yeah, I know we wouldn't do that but had to put it out there just in case, so they have no excuses if Vinh wins.

I said it on FA and I'll say it here. I think Vinh is a stand-up guy and has a great car. But when guys roll on over and start to insult the FA guys who own cars that aren't G35's, that's disrespecting a lot of people. FA is about the Nissan/Infiniti community, not just one car.

I would just like the people who join up to stick around and add something positive, don't just come over to vote and talk down about G35 superiority.

BrianlG35C - I can't see how a Sentra is more deserving than the yellow FI G35

StrokedAndBlown - If that sentra wins, I'm cancelling my subscription.

g352nv - You buy a mag to see what your car could look like and perform like. Not what you already have in the garage!

Whether or not those comments were intended to be read as insults, they come off sounding that way to the non-G35 guys. Will has a lot of respect in the Sentra community, much like Vinh has in the G35. Just trying to keep it in perspective when people seem so shocked that Will is giving Vinh a run for his money.

 

I will toss in my 2 bits on it. I think it is just different opinions and taste. The way of life and no one is wrong in this instance. Though I would surely think and hope that no one was intending to insult anyone elses taste in cars.

And I just joined over there and voted. I did not even know about that forum but am loooking forward to frequenting it as well. So the post here is helpful not just for voting but for the board itself.
