I've had BMW drivers give me, "mad props" (is that how kids these days say it?) on the car. Especially E36 M3 drivers. My neighbor owns an E36 M3 and his wife an E46 330ci; both of them liked my '06 G35 sedan a lot. Another BMW owner (presently owns an 840ci, getting a 335 soon) said that this is the only car not made by the likes of BMW/Mercedes that he'd consider in that price range.

 

LOL...Yup, that's where it happened.



Just had another one this Tuesday.
Was waiting to turn left into BigO in WC for alignment. This guy (kid) goes around me slowly and is checking me out (the car..haha) sticks his hand out and waves his fingers (whatever that means) as he went by.

About 10min later the same kid comes walking up to me in the parking lot while I'm waiting and says, is that for real? is that a real Skyline? Aren't those illegal here? I said yeah, it's basically real, it's a G35 here but with real V35 Skyline badging...they're the same car, not illegal, it's not the GTR, it's the 350GT. He gave me props on my Injen exhaust, TSW wheels, and drop.
He asked why I was at BigO, told him just got installed Cusco Zero2's coils overs and sways, here for alignment. He's mouth dropped opened and all he could say was , niiiice!! That's awesome!! Haha...I said, Thanks, having fun with it. Then he walked on gawking at her. Hehe, I love this car.
