100 octane in NorCal?

Anyone know where you can get this stuff? I know of 2 places, Woodside on 84 and South SF on Linden. What about in the valley and Sac...

I ran across a place on Watt Avenue in Sacramento a while back. After seeing your post, I did some research to try and find the address. I ran into this website:

http://www.sunocoinc.com/Site/Consum...California.htm

It's a great resource! BTW... The place on Watt was expensive. I think it was around $6.50 a gallon.

Do they still sell 100 octane on Linden? I used to buy gas there and the place went out of business.

what are the dangers of using that gas? does the car need to be modified in some way to accept it?

No the car does not need to be modified to accept it. However if your not running a blower or a high compression motor it would be a waste of time to use this gas. I used to own a mustang with a Vortech S1 trim blower and would mix 100 octane with premium gas. I even passed a smog test with this gas in the tank.

no dangers like the dude said, but using it atleast 1 a month helps clean the engine and makes it run alot better

Yes, nice resource...thanks.

Just might treat my G to some of that sweet juice now and then, especially during another dyno run.
Should eliminate the detonation I get and having the ecu retard timing during my pulls.

the owner's manual says the car should be run on 93 octane and since we only have 91 around here i just mix with premium. I figure a 50/50 mix averages to about 95.5 octane. it definitely helps with detonation at low rpms and just feels better imo. Maybe it's all in my head...

The 76 station in Stockton on Hwy 4, just West off the 5 freeway sells 100 octane. Don't know exact price, but it was $4.99 about a year ago.

Where at in woodside? I used to be up there 1-3 times a week in riding season. I would love to be able to fill up there before the twisties.
