I say we avoid i80 as much as possible. 2 weekend's ago CHiP's were in force to crack down on speeding. I came across 15 in a one-mile stretch near 65 on friday. Saturday they moved further east toward Auburn. It was one of their "speed-trap" weekends. I've got my V-1 invisibility cloak but I'm sure others might be vulnerable.

I'll think more about routes.

well we might want to hit up shane to plan any kind of run to avoid the problems with the last meet in the bay. There are several good roads to run around the sac area, I would be happy to lead a group wanting to cruise it and not push it very hard

whats up Rich, maybe you should do a dry run up to Folsom dam area and see if that would be a good run for us.

my thoughts are the same with alot of poppos gonna notice us in such a big group like this, we want to avoid being pulled over and not do a repeat like the bay runs. i suggest that everyone at least put their front license plates on if you don't already have them, at least if ne1 do get pulled over they can't fine us, lets make this run a safe and enjoyable one for everyone

Well, How long of the drive you guys would like? I assume we want to avoid the Freeways? but how is the local street's traffic on the weekend around Folsom lake area? I thought maybe we could make a loop from N. Highlands to up Auburn and down to Placerville for lunch, then ends in Folsom, the route(by look on the map only) is about 95~100 miles, all local streets so we are talking about probably 2 1/2 hours of drive time plus time for lunch and least one stop along the way for regroup, need to take a dry run to see how's the road conditions before I could suggest it.

im down for that whatever the group wants, so we still have some time to work out the run.
