We might want to figure out the drive route first, I'm not from that area so I have no idea where to go, I only check out on the map, and I need to drive it first to see if its ideal for the group drive...Unless you have excat route in mind already.

same here, also need to see how long of a drive we are talking about. personally I'd opt for a shorter route than previously discussed just because I don't have all day to spend with you guys.

From meet point we head down to I80 cross over to I50 Lake Tahoe exit Folsom
stop at Folsom Premium Outlet for lunch, gas, break. After that we gonna drive over the Folsom DAM into Granite bay.. take Douglas Blvd.. from there if anyone is still down we can hit North up to Auburn... im gonna do a run up to Auburn this weekend to see.. but here is how the run from meet point to Douglas (Click on the map to see driving Routes) is a pretty nice drive

Let me know what you guys think.. it could be a long run or short.. really up to how fast or slow we drive plus we have to park over to wait for other people to catch up.. is a pretty nice drive over the Folsom dam into granite bay.. hardly any stop light.. Auburn is right off of Douglas just north so.. let me know if ya down to hit up Auburn so i can do a run up there this weekend

Ummm... I don't think you will be driving over Folsom Dam. They don't let cars drive over that any more. What about Green Valley Road? I used to drive that all the time for work and it is fairly good. I think it runs all the way from Folsom up into El Dorado Hills.

Interesting, every time I have driven by there it has always been closed. But maybe that has changed recently or there are some limited hours or something.
