Hahaha . . . Your M looks almost as good as your G did, Chris.
Seriously, congrats on an awesome new M3. Enjoy and be safe.

My fake one and rear diffuser still sitting in the closet for almost a year now.
Oh HELL NO it's NOT an authentic! I got a replica too. I am NOT paying $1600 for a front lip. I almost bought a real one since we carry ACS parts BUT I slapped some sense into myself. Originally Posted by limeg35

I don't like the idea of replicas but Vorsteiner is replicas too so I guess it's okay. Plus it's gonna be on the most risky part of the car.I shopped around for months and I finally found one locally that met my standards. I needed 2x2 weave CF since I plan on getting some Vorsteiner CF stuff later on and I want all the CF Weave to be 2x2 Twill.

hahaha. Thanks. I just hope the new weird spaceship looking one coming out in 08 doesn't make mine look dated. Originally Posted by andy2434

No, it will not. I prefer the E46's lines over the newer Bimmer's styling. With the exception of the 6 series, I can't see myself buying another BMW, again.Originally Posted by Disco_Monkey

I really like the old 5-series, old 7-series and old X5. The new ones are shaped so feminine in my opinion. The old ones look so much beefier.Originally Posted by andy2434

It took nearly 4 months to sell my G! KBB was 31,900 not even including the DD Avic-D1/MB Quart/Zapco/DVD system but I let it go for 26,500.
Now I can start modding my new baby!
2006 M3 ZCP (Competition Package) 6MT. Silver Gray with Black Leather Interior.
I will post pics shortly...
It took me longer to sell my G, but then again I had a CB colored coupe. After 6 months of trying to sell my car I finally did last January. I had and 04 Coupe with 30k miles on it I bought it on 08/30/03. So I had the car for about 3 1/2 years before she finally sold. I was selling mine for 25K with all the mods included, but nobody was buying it. Tried to trade it in and the dealer was stealing my trade for 18k. So I finally let it go for 23500, sold most of my mods except the exhaust and camber kit. Originally Posted by Disco_Monkey

I bought an 07 Titan SE, but the real reason I sold it is because I bought an 06 CLS500 last July. Can't be happier with my choices the CLS is such a dream to drive barely broke it in at 6k miles to date. My Titan is such a brute of a truck to drive it's a torque monster out of the factory. Now I have something to haul my toys in. LOL!
Goodluck with the M3 my friend has an 05 M3 SMG with Milano interior and that thing is sweet. I almost bought a Cayman S instead of the CLS but the wife wanted the MB better. So I guess when the lease is up on the MB then I can get my P-car, well hopefully I can get it. LOL!

Nice, I actually went to test drive a CLS550 before I got the M3 but I wasn't ready for a cruiser just yet. They had a $10,000 cash back special on ALL CLS models when I went to the MB stealership over on Stevens Creek about 6 mos ago. It looks SO mean when it's dropped on some nice rims.Originally Posted by glennp_1999

Love that bodystyle. My buddy in LA has a modded M5 with that bodystyle. Looks so much better than the new M5 in my opinion.Originally Posted by kris79

I will do a full on photoshoot when I get some more initial mods on the car. Also included a pic of what my G used to look like... in remembrance.
So far I've only done minor things:
Ultimate Pedals - Drilled/Anti-Slip/Shiny
Prolumen 3000K Yellow HID Foglight conversion
Philips Ultinon 6000K Headlights
Hoen Endurance Yellow - "Flash to pass" lights
V1 Hardwired - Custom concealed display in asthray under construction
Driver's side door handle keyhole delete
Solaris Invisibulbs (Chrome Amber) in Corner lights and Sidemarkers
Sitting and waiting to be installed when I have time:
AC Schnitzer Carbon Fiber Front Lip w/ struts (No flippers) - going to have it molded and have my bumper reflectors shaved off
Cross-NA (JIC) Competition Coilovers
Umnitza Predator Chromium DDE's 6000K
AVIC-D2 w/ Double Din Bezel Conversion
On order:
Milltek Catback Exhaust - Should arrive shortly
Planned Mods:
CONFIDENTIAL...
