Reflash, ecu tune, unichip?

Just started getting back into my 06mt since the weather has got nicer here, I'm really hoping that by now someone has a tune or chip upgrade or whatever you call it for the 2006 mt coupe. I've heard rumor of Unichip and F-something or other... Prices? Best performers? Any info would be great, thanks

NA or FI?

NA, anything over the Unichip is overkill.

I am 2 to 3 weeks out before I get the UniChip installed. However, there are a few of the locals here that have had it installed in their G's. Perhaps, they will chime in. I am getting it to keep my AFR in check.

technosquare reflash is a good option once you've got all your mods on. there's no adjustable tuning like the UTEC or HKS F-Con. you could go with either but it's expensive to buy and tune. i don't know about unichip

I have the Unichip. I got installed at the same time I got headers. I already had intake, plenum spacer, cat-back and test pipes (then hi-flow cats). The chip seemed to really put some punch into the mid range. I have a 5AT so I can't say it will be the same difference but for me, it was worth every penny!

I would do a unichip over the re-flash any day. It gives the tuner the chance to make everything just right for your car.

+1, I don't like the run-of-the-mill-program for all cars. I like that the Uni was tuned for my app.

NA mods only; CAI, Z tube, MREV, plenum spacer, new exhaust and just about to install high flow cats... So if I get the unichip can I adjust as I mod? or is it just one setting? how about the HKS? Anyone have any dyno's or estimated increases?

I sense a Unichip is in your near future!
It will definitely benefit your ride.

Hehehe . . . You're next up for the UniChip. I gotta try to get down to see Rob at Z Car before the next meet.

I just sold my Unichip to a guy in SF, he should be going to Rob to get it installed today. His car is NA also, just a bunch of bolt ons.
