codeflux, andy mentioned that you were looking for a new suspension set up for your sedan. My G has the Tokico D-spec 9 with Tein H-Tech for the Z

excellent, thank you for the info. can you post a couple of pics of your drop, please? i am trying to decide what setup to go with. Tokico D-spec is pretty much #1 on my list, i'm not entirely set on the springs yet. also, how much is your drop, in inches, front and rear?

Here's a few pics Codeflux. The drop from stock is abot 2.25 in the front and about 2 in the rear.

I hope the pictures give you an idea of what the d-spec and tokico combination will look like. My wheels are only 18's.

whoa 2-2.25" drop? That's low...I'm happy with my 1/2-1" drop that the coupe/Z springs are supposed to give. I didn't measure it before...so not sure if it's lower.

How is the tire wear from a 2" drop?

The tire wear has been fine. I have about 6k on these tires and no excessive wear.

I just took my car into Infiniti of Serramonte so I will put my 2 cents in.

I made an appointment with John last week for some warrantry work (rattles, rocking chair, mirror, clutch). I took it this morning but I talked to Pete becuase I guess John was off today. I actually had to take the car back home because they wouldn't give me a loaner since I am 20 (kinda sucked but I understand. Just to let you guys know, I paid for this car 100% on my own). I came back an hour later with a parent. Pete just seemed very straightforward and was not talkative at all. I ended up going on a roadtest with the tech and mentioned how other people online had similar problems. His response was, "That's the problem with you new guys. You guys just go on the internet and come to us with that." I was just like, OK. Didn't seem too good either because most of the rattles were not rattling. I drof off the vehicle and am on my way.

When I picked it up, Pete was busy so I talked to Andrew (or was it Andy?). He was real cool. Easy person to talk to. He went over everything with me and I was on my way. They replaced or at least fixed everything I asked of them. Had I not dealt with Andrew, I would have just said my experience was just ok. He actually made me feel good about the experience. I will definately continue to go there for future work. As a matter of fact, they have a great price on fixing curb-rashed wheels. They charge $125/wheel and what is nice is that you can get a loaner. +1 for Infiniti of Serramonte.
