kris, thanks for the hook-up! i don't know about the meet yet, haven't decided. i can always just show up, it's not like i gotta buy tickets.

RocketG35, your drop looks pretty out there. i'm looking for something minimal...

myst, sound very very enticing. do you have model numbers for both? - perhaps even a link with "buy now" button? i'm sooooo lazy these days...

when you see my drop in person...it is pretty minimal. I think the avatar makes it look lower

Plus I think my tire/wheel combo is slightly larger than OEM size...so it filled up the wheel well just a bit. But I do have about a 1" gap in the front...the back is probably 1/2". Is that low?

Boris and I are both going to run Cross Competition coilovers. Cross is the euro division of JIC-Magic. We have them already but haven't installed them yet so you can take a look at them if you'd like. Quality and finish is amazing.

chris, those do look very nice, but that's too much coilover for me. at that price, i may as well get Tein CS + EDFC and be done with it.

Thumbs up The Shop, San Bruno

In case Mach III doesn't work out, I used to bring my 97 Maxima and my CL-S to Matt over in San Bruno. He's been working on aftermarket everything since I can remember and does a great job at a reasonable price.

talk to Howard at Mach3 today. ray is out on the weekends, and dave wasn't there. howard's gonna call me back with a quote monday.

have you guys heard of H&R springs being used with d-specs? supposedly, they are pretty good for comfort, per howard.

H&R springs apparently gives 1.3" front and 1.2" rear drop. gotta go outside and measure it - i am having trouble visualizing how much drop that would be.

^anything aftermarket will probably give a lower drop than the Z/Coupe springs would. I know you're looking for a minimal drop...so going H&R may not be a good idea. Just my $.02!

well, Z/coupe springs are linear, and revised springs have increased spring rate, compared to unrevised. i want progressive springs, and H&Rs provide the least drop, as far as i've researched. push come to shove, i'll get a camber/toe kit when my sh1tty tires expire, if my toe or camber is too much off.

SFG356MT, very nice! the 245's are about 8mm taller than oem 235's, you get about 4mm more clearance. that'll be my next tire size, when my 235's expire.

Igor, stop asking wasting our time. Everybody knows you will NEVER lower your car.

Besides, what's the point? Once you lower it you're gonna want to add other mods as well...
