One Source: Bolt-Ons & Wheels

Hi, Ya' all,
I've recently returned to San Jose after living 2-yrs in (Hilton Head area) South Carolina, after living in Bay Area most of my life. I bought an '07 G35 (Liquid Platinum) coupe a few days after we got here. After I decided I wanted a little more hp and a little bling, I've spent many hours on the 'net. For now, I'm going to add a few "bolt-ons" (including lowering) and wheels (Later, it will be a blower). I prefer to deal with with one source for everything: Does anyone have experience with "The Z-car Garage" in San Jose. I've been to the shop, and I've talked to Rob the owner. I got a "quote" for everything I wanted to do for the near future, and he said he would deal on the wheels I wanted (anyone have suggestions for [19"] wheels...I'm thinking [some] black and [more] chrome...it's a silver car!).

many people here have used Z-Car Garage, they do some great quality work. If you want a shop for everything, that would be your best bet.

Wheel purchase

Re: buying wheels: I think probably that Z-car Garage would be my last choice for a wheel purchase. I would prefer doing business with someone in the wheel business. I've PMed two of this site's sponsors.

I know of one horror story that has yet to be resolved after 2 years with a member buying wheels from ZCG. Also, ZCG doesn't necessarily have a distribution agreement, so they get wheels from a distributor and add their fee. Pointless when you can go direct to a distributor...
